Our client is a reputable fund management firm with strong presence in the Asia Pacific region. They are now looking for a solid Tax Specialist to join their dynamic organization.
Based in Hong Kong and reports to Head of Finance, you will be supporting primarily the international tax compliance and planning activities of the firm. These responsibilities include working closely with the Finance department on tax compliance issues in various jurisdictions, which include Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, India and US; ensuring tax compliance for both corporate entities and fund; communicating with the engaged professionals and overseas correspondents in different jurisdictions to provide the management with necessary information for the tax compliance; as well as negotiating with the tax compliance professionals on the fee budgets for tax compliance.
To qualify, you must be degree holder in Accounting, Finance or Law and with over 6 years of experience in international tax compliance and planning with experience in financial intuitions or asset management will be ideal. Solid experience in liaising independently with tax professionals/ advisors to resolve complex tax compliance issues are required to succeed to role.
